Local Delivery/Store Pick up Info
We are happy to offer a FREE Local Home Delivery for a minimum purchase of $30 before tax is required. We will deliver to the following Cities. Caledonia, York, Hagersville, Jarvis, Fisherville, Cayuga, Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Grimsby, Beamsville, Dunnville, Brantford, Mount Hope and Smithville. (There might be rural areas not mentioned, but they must map out to be within 20 kilometers of one of our stores) We will also deliver any 'gift purchase' you have made to your recipients address should it fall in these locations.
How it works:
We will make deliveries 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's. Orders placed from Sunday to Monday at midnight will be delivered on Wednesday. Orders placed from Tuesday to Wednesday at midnight will be delivered on Thursday. Orders placed Thursday to Saturday at midnight will be delviered on Monday. (Please be advised, there could be changes to delivery dates as the lockdown continues. We will post here if this happens!)
We will package up your order and deliver it to your front porch/door area on the designated day. This will be a contact less delivery. Should you have any additional special instructions on where you would like it left, please indicate in the notes section of the order. If you live in an apartment that requires us to be buzzed in, someone must be home to do so on delivery days as only one delivery attempt will be made. (Please leave buzzer code in notes)
You will receive a confirmation of your order after placing. This will be the only follow up your receive unless there are questions from us regarding your order or there are issues fulfilling it. If not, please expect your delivery on the day you qualify for. We do not guarantee delivery times as our routes vary, but can guarantee that your delivery will arrive by the end of the delivery day! You will receive an email message when your order has been delivered.
Curb-Side Pick up and Expected Turnaround time on pick up orders
We currently offer Store Pick for both locations! Typically your order will be ready on the next pick up day after ordering. You will receive an email when it is ready and can then head to the store at your convience during these hours listed below..Our Curbside Pick up hours during the Ontario Lock Down will be:
Tuesday and Saturday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Thursday and Friday: 2:30pm -6:30 pm
*If you are requesting a curb-side pickup - please be patient as you may need to wait a few minutes for your order to be bought out to you! We only have one staff member in each store at a time and sometimes they are on the phone with another customer when you might call.
Why is Store pickup/ Free Local Delivery not showing as an option at checkout?
We are now using a new system that will only allow you to select a location for curb-side pickup if all of the items in your order are in stock in that store location! This has allowed us to decrease order turn-around time significantly as we do not need transfer stock from our other locations. If no curb-side pickup option is showing at checkout, that means that your order contains certain items that only one store has & other items that only the other location has as well (so neither store can fill the order in it's entirety).
To avoid encountering this issue at checkout - we have a new feature on product pages that will allow you to check if an item is available for pickup at your closest store! If you click on "View store information" on a product's page, a side menu will pop up showing the availability of the item in both locations!
If the option for free local delivery is not showing at checkout - this means that one or more of the items in your cart are not available in our Caledonia store, which is our delivery hub! You can check the availability of each product by store using the method listed above to ensure all items are available to be packed from our delivery hub to avoid any issues!
Some payment methods also will not allow you to choose local pick up or delivery. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, or PayPal if chosen as an accelerated checkout for payment will not allow you to select to pick up in store or delivery. We apologize for this but it is a setting that we cannot change on our end and still offer the local pick up and delivery options. If you wish to use either option, you can use Shop Pay or any other available payment method.
*While there may be some items only available at one store, we are doing our best to ensure our store's stock is as similar as possible to make online ordering for curb-side a breeze!
If you are sending a gift to someone (you thoughtful person you ;) !) please write their address as the shipping address. If you wish to send them a card with the order, we have a great selection of cards for you to choose from. Simply add it to your order and in the notes section, let us know what you would like us to write in the card.
If you are unable to find the 'right' card for your gift, we can fill out a note card for you with your message. Simply detail this in the notes field of your order.
Select your "Shipping" Option Carefully at Checkout
Please choose your 'Shipping Method Carefully". At checkout you may see shipping & curb-side options - if you wish to choose Free Local Delivery you must click shipping first & then enter your address! Unfortunately we are unable to change the delivery/pickup method after you have submitted your order, so please double check you have made the correct selection before submitting your order. When we are asked to change this, we have to manually track and this has lead to too many errors and we hate dissapointing you, so will not be able to make changes once submitted. If you need your order cancelled so you can select the right method, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will cancel your order and you can resubmit it with the correct method.
